If you are going on your own my best advice is a timeline. Give your self extra time for things to go long (such as Hair & Make up, people showing up a little late, photos going a little over, toasts being a little long ect.) give your self an extra 10 min on top of what you already had planned so you can breath and enjoy your day.
A great tool is to get an idea of all the photos you might want, tho an experience photographer knows and wont need to carry the list, it's second nature to us.
